What to Expect During the New Moon Women’s Circle

✨Connection ✨ Community ✨ Support ✨ Encouragement✨

Each New Moon Women’s Circle elaborates on the following wisdom:

Womb Awakening

Some of the earliest understandings of the power of the womb were scribed on papaya leaves over 3,000 years ago in Ayurvedic texts. The health of the Garbh (womb), Yoni (vagina), and Shukra Dhatu (reproductive tissue) are all very important in physical and mental wellbeing of feminine consciousness. Womb awakening will be taught during each circle to bring awareness to the potent power in your physical reproductive system, along with healing practices that can truly help many physical ailments such as PCOS, irregular menstrual cycles, menorrhagia, endometriosis, STDs, sexual trauma, etc.

Moon Consciousness

The waxing and waning journey of Grandmother Moon around Mother Earth is our celestial guide to understanding the waters of womanhood (menstruation). Not only have ancient cultures revered the mysterious cycles of the moon for its physical beauty, but also, the synchronistic rhythm her cycle has on the female body to shed her waters. When the maiden is initiated into womanhood through the commencement of her menstrual (moon) cycle, the phase of the moon during this special time is an important factor in understanding her womb wisdom even deeper. During these circles we go into the powerful connection the moon has on the water element, the female body, and why having conscious awareness to this connection may help you heal physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Red Tent Wisdom

Anita Diamant coined the term “The Red Tent” describing this ancient law practiced as far back as biblical times to the tribe of Jacob, when women would refuge together during menstruation. The phenomenon that women’s cycles sync up when they are together shows the outstanding power of the energy of the womb and the moon. This modern term, the red tent, is a movement to remember the power of womanhood and sisterhood. That whether or not we sync up and bleed together, our experience hosting a womb in our physical body is a gift that only other women can truly relate to and understand. The New Moon Women’s Circles are a call to remember the potency within your womb, heart and mind when you sync all three of these together with other women.

BONUS: Oracle Reading

Each participant will receive a bonus Oracle reading during the New Moon Circle to guide you on your path of womb awakening, moon consciousness and red tent wisdom. As an ancient Greek Oracle, Athanasia will use her gift to channel the Goddess wisdom that comes through for each participant. Her connection to Goddess wisdom is deeply connected to Magdalene Consciousness, Mother Mary, Lakshi, Durga, Radha, Parvati, Shakti, Oshun, Yemaja, Artemis, Tyche and Demeter.

“If life is a collection of meaningful moments, the new moon women’s circle is a beautiful, authentic, soul nourishing moment. Both the physical space and circle space were magical. Athanasia helps create a safe and authentic circle. The flow was organic and special to have beautiful women gather and share and celebrate the new moon and share space in community.”

“When women get together as a group, it is immensely powerful.”

— Annie Lennox

“Here’s to strong women. May we be them. May we know them. May we raise them.”

— Michelle Obama

It all begins with creation.

Women hold the key of creation in their womb. There is something very inherent, primal and wise about the nature of the womb.

Not so long ago, women would take refuge together in community to bleed during the New Moon, and during times of births.

These special and powerful times are recognized spiritually and energetically as very potent portals for the Divine to channel through into this world.
